Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

This notice provides a provisional description of the personal data processing currently envisaged for the RUDY website.

The draft is limited to technical browsing data, security, enquiries submitted through the contact form and any follow-up communication requested by the individual. It does not cover marketing, newsletters or profiling.

Data controller

Rudy’s Srl, VAT number 03956960615, C/o Il Tarì, Zona Industriale ASI Sud, 81025 Marcianise (CE), Italy.

Questions about personal data processing may be sent to info@rudypacifico.com. No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been identified.

Categories of data

The website may process identification, professional and contact details supplied by the user, the content of the enquiry and any contact details chosen for a reply.

For operation and security, technical data generated while browsing may also be processed, including IP address, user agent, date, time, requested page and events strictly required to diagnose and protect the service.

Purposes and legal bases

Contact-form data is processed to answer the enquiry, deliver the internal notification and receipt confirmation through the configured email provider, arrange any requested follow-up by email, telephone or WhatsApp, and operate the website.

Enquiries are handled to take pre-contractual steps at the individual’s request. Security and technical continuity rely on the controller’s legitimate interests; any legal obligations rely on the relevant applicable provision. The final assessment of legal bases will be completed before official publication.

Required and optional information

Full name, company or jewellery retailer, email, country, message and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy are required to submit an enquiry. Role, city, telephone number and reason for contacting RUDY are optional.

Without the required information, the form cannot be submitted. Acknowledging the Privacy Policy is not consent to marketing.

How data is processed

Processing is carried out with digital tools and organisational measures proportionate to the stated purposes. The form uses validation, a honeypot, a minimum completion-time check and temporary rate limiting.

Messages are not written in full to application logs. No automated decision-making or profiling is currently envisaged.

Recipients and service providers

Data may be accessed by authorised RUDY personnel and, once activated, by the provider responsible for delivering email. Technical providers strictly required for hosting, security and website management may also be involved.

The definitive list of providers and processors will be completed once production services have been selected and configured. Data is not intended for public disclosure.

Transfers outside the EEA

Any transfer outside the European Economic Area will depend on the providers ultimately selected. Before official publication, this section will identify the countries concerned, the transfer basis and the applicable safeguards.

Retention

Data will be retained for the time required to handle the enquiry, any resulting relationship and applicable obligations. Definitive retention periods have not yet been determined and will be specified before official publication.

Technical and security logs will be retained only for as long as their purpose requires.

Individual rights

Where applicable, individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to info@rudypacifico.com.

A complaint may also be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority. The availability of each right depends on the processing activity and its legal basis.

Updates

This is a technical draft and not definitive legal advice. It will be updated when hosting, providers, retention periods and the website’s operating arrangements have been finalised. The date of each published version will be shown on this page.
