The origin of RUDY
From Naples, a vision shaped by fashion, materials and jewellery.
The encounter with Mario Valentino
Rodolfo Pacifico’s story, known as Rudy, begins in the world of high fashion. His encounter with designer Mario Valentino leads to five years of close collaboration with the Maison, during which he develops a personal perspective on materials, proportions and the relationship between form and the body.

1975, the first workshop
Via Cavallerizza a Chiaia is where RUDY's earliest identity took shape.
A workshop born from Rodolfo Pacifico's vision and his desire to turn material, technique and intuition into a language of his own.

Fagiolino, the first success
Among the earliest creations is Fagiolino, a coral ring that achieves immediate success. Its popularity marks a decisive moment in the history of RUDY and supports the growth of the workshop.

The discovery of tubogas
In the years that followed, the purchase of the first machine for working tubogas opened up a new field of research.
Continuity, flexibility and movement gradually became defining elements of the RUDY language.

From Naples to the world
Rodolfo Pacifico’s vision gradually reaches some of the leading international events in the sector, from Vicenza to New York, Miami, Birmingham and Dubai.
This journey brings RUDY into contact with different markets, cultures and professionals, while maintaining Naples as its historical and creative origin.

A recognised approach
Over the years, Rodolfo Pacifico’s work receives recognition in the field of jewellery design.
These include the Honorary Diploma for Design at the “Mille e un Diamante” competition and the FACE Award 2001/2002.

A Vision That Continues
Today, RUDY carries this history forward, continuing to translate it into creations entirely produced and hand-finished in the RUDY workshop at Il Tarì in Marcianise.
